Legal Structure
The organization structure of PERPAMSI consists of:
1. DPP (Dewan Pengurus Pusat or Board of Directors), which consist of 13 Chiefs.
2. DPD (Dewan Pengurus Daerah or regional representative), of which there are 28.
3. The secretariat, which is managed by the Executive Director, who is assisted by the heads of four departments: (a) General Affairs and Administration; (b) Service and Information Systems; (c) Research and Development;and (d) Institutions and Cooperation.

Organization
PERPAMSI is managed by an Executive Director, supported by four Bureau Chiefs:
• Organization, Information and Communication, and Water Resources;
• Research and Development
• Human Resource Development, Foreign Relations, Investments and Joint Ventures; and
• General Affairs and Administration.

Budget
The income of PERPAMSI is derived from three sources:
• membership fees: 85%;
• foreign donors (project support): 5%; and
• interest on depositos and investments: 10%.

Regional Offices
Each Province has a regional office (DPD or Dewan Pengurus Daerah), which is situated in one of the larger PDAMs in that province. Presently, their main responsibility is to coordinate information dissemination within the Province, but in the coming years they will play a key role in the implementation of projects, training and dissemination of best practices.
