Transmission system:
• Protect water intakes from pollution;
• construct fences around water intakes;
• improve environmental conservation of water intakes;
• replace and rehabilitate transmission mains;
• better use of chemicals in transmission mains;
• research opportunities for increased intake from surface water; and
• increase available water intake capacity.

Private Sector Participation (PSP)
The PDAM is improving customer service in partnership with:
• PT. Pos Indonesia, BCA, Bank Bukopin (Payment Points);
• PT. Telkom (billing info); and
• Educational institutions (to improvement managerial and GIS skills).
