(a) Rehabilitation and improvement
and the distribution network (from main pipes to tertiary
pipes for reticulation) in connection with road widening,
and also including corroded pipes (GIP and asbestos).
(b) Water meter replacement (of meters with a technical
life exceeding four years); a total of 20,000 units
will be replaced, not excluding connections to government
agencies.
(c) Construction of 300mm parallel transmission mains
over a length of 4 km.
(d) Construction of an additional floor in the head
office (from 1 to 2 floors).
(e) Procurement of 10 two- or three-wheel vehicles for
the Emergency Call Unit.
(f) Revitalization of the intake at Broni to anticipate
operations in the dry season.
(g) Improvement of the radio communication system (trunking
system).
(a) Cooperation with the
LGWS programs.
(b) Cooperation with the World Bank (development and
rehabilitation of water supply systems).
(c) Rescheduling and restructuring of long-term debts.
At present, a feasibility study
is undertaken with private sector parties to contract
out the O&M activities of all production units,
and to development new treatment plants under a BOT-scheme
with PT. Novco and PT. BTSM Jakarta.
