For the last thirty years many
bi-lateral and multilateral donor organizations have
been involved within the Urban Water Sector in Indonesia,
with Technical Assistance programs, training, grants
and loan projects. All of these activities used to be
implemented through Central Government Agencies, but
since the decentralization process began in 2001, more
and more implementation of donor supported activities
are done either directly with PDAMs or through PERPAMSI.
The following is a list of the main
foreign donor institutions currently involved in the
Urban Water Sector in Indonesia. Click
