Introduction
Dana Pensiun Bersama Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum Seluruh Indonesia (DAPENMA PAMSI) is a unique pension fund, not only because it has considerable number of co-owners (251 as of 30 September 2002), but also because owners and partners represent an institution that is fully independent without any structural or departmental hierarchy. The mission of the organization reflects this commitment.

After a successful first five-years of operations (1996-2000), DAPENMA PAMSI issued a business plan that defines a development program for the next five-year period (2001-2005), the pillars of which are:

1. Ensure that all PDAMs in Indonesia are co-owner. The target for 2005 is 95 percent.
2. Ensure an optimum investment result. The target for 2005 is a rate of return that exceeds bank interest rates by 3 percent. In addition, the RKD should be at least 90 percent in that year.
3. Improve performance through work practices and services which are accurate, fast and integrated so that by the end of 2005 DAPENMA PAMSI will find itself in an excellent position for further development.

Vision
The vision of DAPENMA PAMSI is: 'Become the first choice for managing a pension program for the employees of PDAMs in the whole of Indonesia'.

Mission
The mission of DAPENMA PAMSI can be summarized as follows:
• to manage the pension program in a professional and high-quality manner;
• to invest in a safe, yet result-maximizing fashion; and
• to guarantee a pension to those members that are entitled to it.

Main values
To implement the above mentioned vision and mission with objectives, the organization has committed itself to five main values, which are the basis of its corporate culture. The five main values are:

• Excellent service provision
• Focus on operations
• Responsive and innovative
• Professional (Competence, Integrity and Responsibility)
• Willing to cooperate with others

The main values are the primary basis on which the corporate culture of DAPENMA PAMSI is shaped, now and in the future.


At present, the management of DAPENMA PAMSI consists of Drs. H. Supraptono (President Director), Drs. Hendry Singko (Director of Administration and Finance) and Drs. Ara Soemarsono (Director of Investments).
