What is PERPAMSI?
PERPAMSI is the association of Indonesian drinking water companies. The organization was founded in semi-professional capacity on 8 April, 1972. At present, about 300 water enterprises in the country are regular members of the Persatuan Perusahaan Air Minum di Seluruh Indonesia; in addition, there are over 60 extraordinary members who are working in the field of water supply (suppliers, manufacturers, contractors, etc.).

How does PERPAMSI work?
• We demonstrate 'best practices' in the different fields of water supply services;
• we promote professional business principles in the operation of a water enterprise (better known as Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum or PDAM);
• we coordinate resources provided by government agencies and donor organizations towards improving PDAM operations; and

• we undertake training programs and other activities to motivate PDAM managers and employees.
